Branding, Logo Design and Illustration
I led the rebranding of Henderson Loggie, a distinguished independent accountancy firm with a longstanding presence in Scotland since 1909.
The objective was to cultivate a modern, people-centric image that would resonate in today's dynamic market. To achieve this, the project encompassed the creation of bespoke illustrations, adding character and a unique flair to an industry often characterised by uniformity. The logo, featuring a data-centric icon cleverly integrated with the initials 'H' and 'L', harmoniously complemented the lively colour scheme and engaging illustrations.
Project Objective
Henderson Loggie approached us with a clear vision: to rebrand themselves as a forward-thinking, people-first organisation that stands out in a contemporary market. They aimed to elevate their brand to support and enhance their reputation and visibility in the competitive accountancy sector.
Design Strategy
In response to Henderson Loggie's aspirations, I created a brand identity that reflected their energy and enthusiasm. A key aspect of the rebranding involved the development of a unique library of bespoke illustrations, providing distinctive and ownable assets that would set them apart in a market saturated with generic stock imagery. To counterbalance the vibrant colour palette and playful illustrations, the logo was designed with a focus on data interpretation, imparting a sense of control and professionalism. The graph-like icon within the logo also cleverly incorporates the initials 'H' and 'L', reinforcing the firm's identity while adding a contemporary touch to their visual identity.
